Coach D. Sheppard

Athletic Coordinator / 6th-8th grade Physical Education

 

Coach Sheppard serves as the Athletic Coordinator & Physical Education teacher of Hendrick Middle School. 

As the Athletic Coordinator, Coach Sheppard oversees the boy's athletic program, in which he is directly supervised by the PISD athletic director and the campus administration. Coach Sheppard will oversee and manage all duties specific to the position, in addition to the duties assigned by the PISD athletic director and the principal.

As a Physical Education teacher, Coach Sheppard designed to develop motor skills, knowledge, and behaviors for active living, physical fitness, sportsmanship, self-efficacy, and emotional intelligence. Coach Sheppard will also assist the students in developing and demonstrating lifelong physical activity and overall social, emotional and physical well-being.

  • Period 1  (8:25 - 9:12): Boy's 7th grade Athletics
  • Period 2  (9:16 - 10:08):  PE 8th grade
  • Period 3 (10:12 - 10:59): PE 6th grade
  • Period 4 (11:03 - 12:20): Lunch Duty
  • Period 5 (12:24 - 1:11): PE 8th grade
  • Period 6 (1:15 - 2:02):  6th grade Pre-Athletics
  • Period 7 (2:06 - 2:53):  Conference
